At The Dogwood Canine Lodge, we don’t just board dogs, we welcome them into a space that feels calm, natural, and genuinely cared for. Every dog is different, so we take the time to get to know who they are: what makes them happy, what helps them settle, and what kind of attention makes them feel safe. Each dog gets at least an hour of true one-on-one time every day, whether that’s playing, walking, or simply sitting together and enjoying the quiet.

Our property is 35 acres of woods, fields, and streams, and we love sharing it with the dogs who stay with us. They can sniff their way along two miles of private trails, splash in the creek, or stretch out in the open meadows. Some dogs prefer slow, thoughtful walks under the trees; others want to trot through the fields and take in every scent. We follow their lead and match their pace.

When you choose to stay at The Dogwood we keep things simple. There’s one flat rate for your dog’s stay, which covers everything: giving medications, special feeding needs, enrichment activities, and all the care they require. We want you to feel confident that your dog is getting personalized attention and everything they need, without any hidden fees or extra charges.
