We are in Marne, MI, just 15 minutes North West from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and 25 minutes from the Grand Rapids Gerald R. Ford International Airport.

Our daily rates are $75 for the first dog and $65 for each additional dog sharing the same cabin. Each day your dog is with us counts as a full day, including pick-up and drop-off days. For select holiday dates, there is a $10 per dog premium. This rate covers all care, feedings, enrichment, and attention — no extra fees or surprises.

Each cabin includes a comfortable bed — either a Kuranda style bed or a futon — along with storage for your dog’s food, toys, and treats. The space is climate-controlled with heat and air conditioning, and we provide a white noise machine and/or speaker for calming music. Dogs have indoor/outdoor access to a fenced, turfed yard, and we monitor the cabins with 24/7 cameras for our own use to ensure their safety and well-being.

Every stay includes at least one full hour of exercise, enrichment and/or personal attention each day, along with all feedings and giving any medications your dog needs. We don’t charge extra for things like Kongs, bedtime tuck-ins, or the little comforts that make your dog feel at home — it’s all part of their stay with us. You’ll probably receive photos of your dog even if you don’t ask, but if you’re missing your pup, you’re always welcome to request one. Just know it might take us a moment to step away and send it.

Yes! Multiple dogs can share a cabin as long as they get along well, show no signs of resource guarding, and normally eat together without issue. When dogs are sharing a space, treats and toys are offered only during supervised periods to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable.

Drop-offs and pick-ups are by appointment only, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., every day except Tuesdays and holidays. Because we’re a small-scale, home-based lodge, we do our best to balance the dogs’ needs with visits from people. We keep Tuesdays as a quiet day for everyone, both our family and the dogs staying with us, to help maintain a calm and sustainable environment. Scheduling your visit by appointment ensures we can give each dog our full attention while still welcoming you warmly.

All we need is your leashed dog, food for the stay, and any medications. We welcome the items that your dog will find comfort in from home, treats or pill pockets, favorite toys, bedding or blankets. Please note these may not come back in the same conditions they arrive in. All items brought for your dog are subject to our discretion. We may remove or limit anything we feel could compromise safety or comfort.

For the health and safety of all our guests, dogs must be up to date on rabies, distemper/parvo, and flea and tick prevention. If your dog has been to another boarding facility or attended daycare within the 7 days prior to their stay, we also require a negative fecal test to help ensure a safe and clean environment.

We do not offer mixed play groups. Our focus is on providing a safe, calm, and individualized stay for every dog. We understand that not all dogs are comfortable in multi-dog social settings, so we keep dogs either on their own or with their family group.

Not at this time. We do our best to send your dog home looking and feeling their best with a quick brush-out or wipe-down. We do plan to offer full grooming services in the future, and we’ll update our guests when those services become available.

Possibly — it depends on how it will affect the dogs currently staying with us. Because we prioritize their comfort and keeping the environment calm, tours are offered by appointment only and only when it won’t disrupt our guests. We’re happy to schedule a meet and greet at no charge with a booked stay, or for $25 without a booking. If you’d like to do a trial stay, those are available at our regular daily rate.
